This 12V 20Ah lithium battery is powerful yet compact enough to fit in many deep cycle applications. The RB20 is a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery with more power, less weight and lasts much longer than its lead-acid counterparts. It’s longer life span provides exceptional lifetime value. The 20 ah of capacity provides ample power for high amp draw electronics for times when you need a longer run time. It’s suitable in many applications where you need a long lifespan and quick charge capability or in outdoor/recreational use where lighter weight and capacity are key. It’s commonly used in the following applications: fishing electronics, robotics, solar lighting, remote power, outdoor adventures and other deep cycle applications.

RELiON lithium batteries provide more energy for high consumption than traditional lead-acid batteries. They also offer ultra-fast charging and discharging, high efficiency and a longer cycle life – plus no maintenance!

Not all lithium batteries are created equal. All RELiON Batteries use the safest and most stable components, including a LiFePO4 cathode and a built-in Battery Management System (BMS). The BMS ensures a long lifetime, safe handling – and high-accuracy State of Charge (SOC) calculations.

PRODUCT REVIEWS

Brian Evans

I have had this 20 ah battery for about 4months and it's doing a very good job for a small battery it runs a 15 QT 12volt compressor frig for about 12 hrs and I'm very impressed with it so far

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my existing lead-acid battery charger (Wet, AGM or Gel) to charge RELiON lithium iron phosphate batteries?
Most likely, yes. Our lithium batteries are very charger-friendly. Most chargers today have a lithium charge profile, which is what we recommend using. AGM or gel charge profile chargers will work with our batteries. We do not recommend the use of a flooded charge profile with our batteries. These chargers may reach the overvoltage protection limit and disconnect. It won’t damage the battery but will likely result in charger faults. See our Lithium Charging Instructions for more details.
How can I determine the state of charge (SOC) of my lithium iron phosphate battery?
The best way to determine the SOC of your battery is to use a battery indicator— a high-precision instrument that captures instantaneous and integrated data in real-time. RELiON’s battery indicator uses a 500A shunt to accurately measure the discharge/recharge currents and calculates the Ampere-hours (Ah) flowing in and out of the battery.
How deep can a lithium iron phosphate battery be discharged?
LiFePO4 batteries can be discharged up to 100% without risk of damage. Make sure you charge your battery immediately after discharge. We recommend discharging be limited to 80-90% depth of discharge (DOD) to avoid the BMS disconnecting the battery.
