It maintains consistent power and is equipped with an M10 terminal type and built-in overcharge protection. Long-Lasting RB48V200 Battery Powers Off-Grid Minnesota Cabin

After snowmobiling, fishing or relaxing on the lake in the scenic Superior National Forest in northern Minnesota, the last thing the Schumann family wanted to do was worry about whether they’d have power when they arrived back at their off-grid cabin. The Schumanns also wanted to enjoy peace and quiet in nature and not have to constantly listen to a noisy, polluting generator that diminishes the experience of being at their cabin in the middle of the forest. After nearly eight months of struggling to maintain power in their cabin by charging their absorbed glass mat (AGM) lead-acid batteries with a generator, the Schumanns had gone through two sets of failed lead-acid batteries and knew they needed to find a better solution.
