Our InSight Series™ 48V lithium iron phosphate battery is a GC2 sized drop-in replacement battery that delivers high-quality performance, power and precision. This 48V 30 Ah battery was designed specifically for golf cars, utility vehicles, LSVs and AGVs.
InSight batteries are drop-in ready and easy to install, just connect them in parallel for the capacity you need. No need to modify trays, no complicated connections, and no heavy lifting. We recommend using our Battery Spacers to fill the empty battery spots so you can use the existing battery hold-downs that come in your vehicle. These can be purchased on our website. If you do not use our Battery Spacers, please ensure your InSight batteries are securely held down.
They’re also scalable, so you can provide increased power and energy (up to 300Ah) as needed. InSight batteries are connected in parallel (up to 10) which means you have the freedom and flexibility to use the right amount of batteries for your equipment, typically two to six batteries.
InSight batteries also feature an elegant BMS that provides precision balancing within a battery and between batteries in a parallel system without the need for charging batteries individually. In addition, our proprietary software determines and manages regenerative currents – unlike any other battery solution - avoiding unnecessary battery disconnects.

Batteries very easy to install, straightforward instructions. Range a bit less than predicted at 18-20 miles, but is a three row cart. Cart much quicker and lighter than before. All questions quickly answered by customer service.

They are fantastic. Run my upgraded golf cart with an alltrax 500amp controller and high torque motor with no problems.
Using these batteries in a six-seater EZ Go passenger golf cart. Excellent batteries, but they have a few unique features that take a little getting used too. But overall, I like the batteries and a significant improvement over lead-acid batteries.
Purchased two 30AH Insight Batteries and Battery Monitor on-line/direct. I was promptly contacted about the cordset desired for the Lester Electrical Summit II charger included as a promotion and all items were meticulously packaged arrived in only 3 days by UPS ground. Tracking and Product Installation instructions were included in print and by e-mail. A few remaining questions were promptly answered by phone and e-mail.
I completed installation on a Club Car Precedent in about a day including some custom mounts. I opted for this approach rather than fitting "empty" filler batteries. These batteries are truely state of the art "smart batteries" with on-board management and SOC indication. Their initial performance has been outstanding. The weight reduction of 400 lbs to 88 lbs (with charger on board) makes the cart feel light and fast. There is no going back to high maintenance lead acid batteries which are really a pain to deal with.
I have yet to test the range of the unit, but I feel confident already that even though the initial cost is higher, these Lithium batteries are the best life cycle proposition for this application. Kudos to Relion.
